Rachel and I became friends while studying 3D animation in 2003. Luckily for us, our school was conveniently located only 2 minutes away from a great, old pub in central Auckland. Every Friday we would head down to the London Bar to enjoy a few pints of Mac's Gold and have a laugh. "Just one more" was an often repeated phrase at our table.

TOKI by Rachel Copp

Since graduating from Media Design School, Rachel has been freelancing as a computer animator. The drum kit (pictured top right) was created for a Dr Invisalbo music video. The character "TOKI" (pictured above and right) was created for the artist Hye Rim Lee's latest exhibition "Powder Room". The images below are all Maya Particle effects. New Zealanders will recognise the first image as the weather report on Channel One News. Rachel created the snow.
